Ritual Series is a deluxe signed 25 edition book. Each book contains ten matted color dye transfer photo prints housed in an unbound book with an introduction by contemporary art historian Jean Feinberg. The prints were completed at Frank Tartaro Studio, New York City in 1981 under the supervision of Frank Tartaro and Michael Singer. Hand made paper for the book was produced at Dieu Donne Press, New York City. Lily Pond Ritual Series 1975 and First Gate Ritual Series 1979 are each represented with five dye transfer photographs. The ten photographs in the group are separately mounted in archival mats. Michael Singer Ritual Series is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York City, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City, the Louisiana Museum, Hummlebaek Denmark and other notable institutions and private collections.
